Thanks for volunteering! This site is closed. Please visit our Jordan Park site to sign-up!
The project will take place at 1000 West 2320 South, West Valley, UT 84119 in Salt Lake County. Park in the Redwood Trailhead Park parking lot on 2320 South and approximately 1000 West. Volunteers will gather by the pavilion to the south of the parking lot for further direction.
Please join Salt Lake County for the Trailside Conservation Day at the annual Get Into The River Festival. Volunteers will be asked to remove garbage from the Jordan River Parkway and river corridor and remove any invasive species by digging or pulling them out and bagging them in provided trash bags. Volunteers may also be asked to remove invasive Russian olive and tamarisk with hand clippers or loppers. Volunteers will learn why they are cleaning the river, what people have done and are doing to restore the river, and the goals of ecosystem restoration.
