Please join Salt Lake County and South Salt Lake for the Trailside Conservation Day at the annual Get Into The River Festival. Volunteers will be asked to remove garbage from the Jordan River Parkway and river corridor and remove any invasive species by digging or pulling them out and bagging them in provided trash bags. Volunteers will learn why they are cleaning the river, what people have done and are doing to restore the river, and the goals of ecosystem restoration. At the end of the day, volunteers will learn about the Jordan River Parkway, native flora and fauna on the site, and Jordan River-based restoration.
