South Salt Lake to host activities along Jordan River

SOUTH SALT LAKE — The city will host a gathering along the Jordan River for residents to learn about recreational opportunities in the area.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 31 at General Holm Park, near 3900 South and the Jordan River, with access from 700 West and Carlisle Park Drive. There will be a treasure hunt and geocaching along the trail, information booths about the parkway and the neighborhood, and treats for all who participate.
