Conservation Day

2016 Conservation Day

On Thursday, May 12, 2016, from 9 am to 1 pm, nearly 600 volunteers will join us again for our annual Conservation Day Event. Both corporate and community organizations will join in a variety of conservation efforts to restore the Jordan River Parkway.  Volunteers will be working alongside the paved Jordan River Parkway trail and from river itself in canoes!

Activities may include removing trash, pulling weeds, re-seeding areas with native plants, pruning trees, removing graffiti, refreshing paint and other restoration tasks. Volunteer teams will spend approximately four hours working along the Jordan River.
